This blog will touch basis with the history of the acoustic guitar and how it got started. I will go over the history of the C.F. Martin guitar, the types of wood used, materials, and the sound quality of various types of C.F. Martin Guitars.
That's a nice sounding guitar you have there. How do you like this guitar, and do you recommend for all types of players? What genre would you say fits best with this guitar? I like the nice solid mahogany wood with rosewood fingerboard. Nothing better than a rosewood fingerboard in my opinion. It really has a nice natural oiliness to it that makes for less upkeep and a nicer fundamental note sound. I would definitely like to hear some clips of this thing recorded through some nice preamps. Do you have anything available so that we can get a true understanding of how this guitar sounds? Great history though of the guitar. I wasn't aware that model was made around the depression era. Thanks for all of the info!
